If we believe that art should be about conflict, then for me the conflict is that I live in an urban environment but crave a rural one.
The space I seek is represented by the sky that I glimpse between buildings, across parks, from balconies, windows and roofs. The sky is framed, inscribed by trails or reflected in glass.
Using modern paints I am able to make these works glow through natural light that changes during the course of the day.
